Creating the Logo + Experiments
Creating an identity for the new idea of the brand. Using the word YUM creates a 'sense' - I wanted to keep it playful and i chose to use play with the formation of type.
The experiments took place, as I tried to make the type feel 'live' and create a positive emotion form the design with positive connotations.
Alwthough these designs create a positive and 'happy' feeling - they don't portray a sense of homemade produce. I feel that the type needs to be more hand carted rather then digitally enhanced. This idea can be pushed to create a homemade but professional approach.
Logo Design:
To create this logo I hand rendered, I used a type as a format and built upon it by hand rendering specific aspects.
Things that didn't go quite right:
After rendering the logo, I decided to cut out a stencil that could allow me to spray paint the logo onto areas of the range that could bring the brand together such as - envelopes, bowls, lids, placemats etc.
The first attempts of spray painting didn't go quite that well as the stencil wasn't strong enough to hod the spray paint.
Other ways that i could develop the design :
White ink pen
Spray paint (try again)
Ink
The experiments i feel would look effective if they came out right. The design onto the black matt works well but maybe considering another tool to do the designs would be appropriate.

Condiment Development : Developing the Business Card
Developing a logo and a name for the company. I decided that the name should be relatable to the touch, sense, taste and emotions of what you get from condiments. I wanted he design to portray a friendly tone of voice.
The starting point :
Simple and early stages of developing the business cards;
These experiments are slightly too bright and don't work in a homemde traditional format. I think they designs need to include an image to inform the design.
The designs look too busy for the simplicity of the project and look quite childish and aimed for a younger target audience.
