Researching the Movies

I bought empire magazine so that i couldd see how the layout influence the attention on specific film and various other aspects.

Empires brand is quite strong and they use layout methods that variate throughout the magazine. I really like how they use bright colours to section off certain designs and to reate a bold and powerful impact. It auditoatically brings the attention to spepciic sections which is very important/.  

Looking through the magazine has allowed me to focus my ideas for the Cinema branding. Empire uses a bold header and incopertes the logo where ver it can. 

i would like to use this but reflect a shape instead of a logo that could incorpate image and text - such as the bold rectangle shapes empire has used within there designs.
